- The OKR Masterclass series
Transcript
One of the focuses for organizations in the modern era is to develop a sense of agility – an agile organization and OKRs go hand in hand with agility.
For OKRs to be successful they must be flexible and agile. The goals cannot just be set once or twice a year, but instead, need to be implemented into the organization’s monthly and quarterly schedules.
As business changes, the goals must be able to move in the same direction, and that agility is supported by the short-term planning that goes with an objective supported by a key result.
We are also seeing more of a trend where strategy is no longer looked at yearly or five-yearly. Organizations today are becoming more agile by setting, often, monthly strategic targets or goals and this can be very, very beneficial to an organization as they will always be up to date with the external risks and opportunities that are presented by the market.
